Converting the contracts system to roguelike runs in the release#25

Like guilds in anime, you could have a job board and do those - each “run’ is a job, and you can keep your gear betwen each “job”.

It would be a cool and thematic way to explain each run (like how in Slay the Spire Neow brings you back to life each time), and have a semi-permanant progression since you could keep your stuff between each contract, but if you die it’s all gone.

It could be frustrating though if you lose a ton of progress after playing for so long, but I think the system could work with some refinements. Maybe just call runs contracts instead.
